CRISP Automation has been working for several months on the project to modify CRISP/32 allowing it to run on both the VAX and Alpha platforms. The technical wizards spearheading this effort are none other than Stanley Quayle and Jim Azbell! This effort is a multi-staged program with the most basic CRISP software modules being "ported" first. Click below for the latest status report and migration guide on the CRISP effort. CRISPview 3.0 can be easily added to your system. Contact Ken Wild at 410-255-2334 for the CD and instructions. CRISPview 3.0 running with InduSoft 2.4 is a simple upgrade. If you want to run the new InduSoft Studio version 3.0, your hardkey will have to be reprogrammed. No big deal, you don't even have to send it for reprogramming. You will have to go through a procedure which involves contacting InduSoft for a new "code" to be inserted. Be sure to contact Ken Wild first. For most of you, this upgrade will be at no charge. If you are utilizing the old DEC color printers along with PCWS, there is a cure! With a new software package and a serial to parallel convertor, you can run almost any of the newer HP color inkjet printers. Those who have switched so far have all opted for the HP 2000 model. Once again, contact Ken Wild at 410-255-2334 if you are interested.
